She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Brown and Ethel Brown; and her siblings, Elmer Brown (Linda), Eleanor Burnett (Bob) and Carol Rogers (Dan).

She is survived by: her husband Douglas Elder; and her children, Bryan (Vicki), Brad (Cindy), Warren (Linda), Randy (Nancy), Karen Lyn (Larry Dickinson) and Rick (Cheri). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
