He is survived by: his spouse Fay Vlielander; his children, Lynn Hellyer (Nelson) of Markdale, Carolyn Marx (Peter) of Owen Sound, Lisa Hartley (Rick) of Shallow Lake and John Vlielander (Chris) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Rachel Phillips (Paul), Leah Stajcer (Matt), Josh Marx, Brooklyn Marx, Elyse Hartley, Jacob Vlielander and Eden Vlielander; his great grandchildren, Natalie Phillips and Benjamin Phillips; and his siblings, Alice VanderPloeg, Leonard Vlielander (Linda), Ann Johnston and Allen Connell (Rae).
