He was predeceased by: his stepfather Lloyd Smith; and his grandparents, Brownlee Cain and Lila McKay. He is survived by: his parent Debbie Smith of Newmarket; his siblings, Marcy Kerr (Jeff) of Newmarket and Adam Smith of Toronto; his nieces and nephews, Ethan, Avary, Kyle, Esme and Olive; his grandparents, Doug Elder, Evelyn Elder of Chatsworth and Aunt Penny Crawford (John); and also, Darryl Hampton (Leanne) and LeeAnn Hampton (Chris Wells).
