Austin George Hunt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2024, at the age of 81, Austin George Hunt (Chatsworth, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Austin leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Austin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Norman Hunt and Alfreda Veenstra; his brother-in-law Richard Young; and his parents, Alfred Hunt and Betty Hunt.

He is survived by: his wife Rita Madelyn Hunt; his sister Shirley Young; and his in-laws, Shirley Hunt and Teake Veenstra. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
