She was predeceased by: her husband Atkinson; and her parents, Albert Smith and Cora Smith. She is survived by: her children, Deborah MacArthur Hergert (Brian) of Barrie, Jim Atkinson (Debbie) of Chatsworth and Denise Simpson (Steve) of Owen Sound; her grandchildren, Kristianna (Brad), Trevor (Melissa), Jason, Cindy (Jon) and Samantha (Casey); her great grandchildren, Vrindavani (Dustin), Chanelle, Mya, Benson, Autumn and Sierra; and her great great grandchild Vinadasi. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Donations to the Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association, or Chapman House would be appreciated by the family.
