It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Richie of Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on October 23, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Richie; her parents, Francis Couture and Melda Couture; her siblings, Ovila, Marion, Cecile, Adele and Leona; her daughter Deborah Simpson (Roger); her granddaughter Marisa; and also Marie Jeanne Couture.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Faubert (Wayne), Wayne Richie (Suzanne) and Colleen Sloan (Grant); her grandchildren, Ryan, Kelly, Randy, Shawn, Scott, Eric, Amanda, Karli and Autumn; and her stepgrandchildren, Monica and Chad. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home - Chatham (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament (145 Victoria Ave, Chatham, ON N7L3A7). A burial will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Anthony Cemetery (55 Maple Leaf Dr, Chatham, ON N7M).

In lieu of flowers donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation in memory of Yvonne would be greatly appreciated by the family.
