He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard and Lucy Howard; and his siblings, Pauline, Christine and Brian.

He is survived by: his wife Hilda Barbara (Farrow); his sons, Peter Howard (Angie) of London, ON and David Howard (MaryLin) of Shrewsbury, ON.; his grandchildren, Joshua Howard (Tina) and Bethany Dueck (Brian); his great grandchildren, Abigail, Julian, Harrison and Sophia; his brother Keith Howard (Julie) of England; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Farrow and Melinda Howard.
