She was predeceased by: her parents, Romaine Velle and Oscar Velle; her son George Lernout; and her siblings, Margaret Vandeweghe and Maurice Velle.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Verhart (Leo), Jim Lernout (Rita) and Laurie Lassaline (Marcel); and her daughter-in-law Rose Ann Lernout. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one on the way, many nieces and nephews.
Donations to the Alzheimers Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
