He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandson Logan Puchnatyj; his mother Elaine Shanks; his siblings, Al Shanks (Mavis), Brent Shanks, Don Shanks (Mary Jo), Deb Shanks (Derek White), Scott Shanks (Michele), Ann Fife (Bill), Dave Dodman (Lynda), Carman (Vickie), Billy Dodman (Stella), Mike Dodman (Denise), Peter Dodman (Miriam), Beth Pollock (Dan) and Karen McCarter (Ted); his mother-in-law Margaret Steinberg; his father Bob Shanks; his brother Ronald Shanks; his fathers-in-law, John Dodman and Howard Steinburg; his brother-in-law Bobby Dodman; his uncle Bill Shanks (Audrey); his great-nephew Journey Stickney; and also Madeline. He was also cherished by his many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
