She was predeceased by: her husband Gregory; her parents, Robert Sanderson and Empress Sanderson (McDermid); her stepmother Gwen Sanderson; her brothers, Ron Walker, David Scragg and Jim Bobier; and her siblings-in-law, Myrna French, Dave French, Stan Kuchmy, Scott Rankin and John Rankin.

She is survived by: her children, Christopher Rankin (Jen), Matthew Rankin and Sarah Austin (Mike); her granddaughters, Sophie, Madeline Austin, Mackenzie and Kylie Rankin; her sister Pat Chapple (Gary); and her siblings-in-law, June Walker, Judy Rankin, Brenda Rankin, Lillian Kuchmy, Laurel Rankin, Lowell Rankin and Steven Rankin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
