Ruth Jefferson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2020, Ruth Jefferson of Chatham, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gary "Chappie" Jefferson; her parents, Lela Solomon (Wright) and Walter Solomon; her siblings, James, John Gross, Barbara Selby and Marie Gross; and her sister-in-law Joyce Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Whitney Jefferson, Cheryl Anne Jefferson and Kathleen Jefferson; her grandchildren, Marcus, Andrew, Devon, Kyle, Dylan, Felicia, Nathan, Cody, Jesse and Tommy McNear; her great grandchild Andrew Jefferson Jr.; her siblings, Jean Solomon, Linda Travis and Sandra Miller; and her nephew Dennis Brown. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Because of the current Covid-19 restrictions, a private family visitation and service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
