She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Charlton; her children, Robin Syrie and Mark Syrie (Bridgette) of Florida; her grandson Matthew Syrie Zwicker; her parents, Ada Garden and William Garden; her brothers, Charles Garden and Robert Garden; and her sister-in-law Minnie Charlton.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Clarke (Michael) of London, Edward Charlton (Jessica) of Arthur and Ken Post (Sharon) of Wheatley; her grandchildren, Miranda Rieger (Kris) of Hamilton, Eric Clarke of London, Brenna Charlton of Hamilton, Aislinn of Arthur, Morgan of Arthur, Payton of Arthur, Regan of Arthur, Owen of Arthur, Samantha Charlton of Arthur, Angela Syrie Zwicker of Calgary, Heather, Len Struyk, Ron, Karen Post, Cheri, Kurt Wachhaus and Annabella Rieger; her sisters-in-law, Sharon Garden of Michigan and Ann Garden of Calgary; and her friend Margaret Workman of Mitchell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
