He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Smith and Alice Maude Smith; his wife Joyce Dorothy Smith; and his sibling Madelaine Barrett (Roy). He is survived by: his daughter Gina Elizabeth Smith; his brother Percy Smith (Margaret); his nieces and nephews, Cameron (Jan) and Graham Smith; and his pet Buddy.
