He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hughes and Myrtle Hughes (Leggett); his wife Kathleen A. (Paling); and his brother Fredrick. He is survived by: his children, Robert, Sheila Hughes (Summerfield), Thomas Hughes (Cheryl), Judy, Cameron Zink, Kathleen and Ted Paterak; his grandchildren, Rebecca Pye (Jason), Robert Hughes (Terri-Lyn), Jonathan Hughes (Angela), Casey Boromello (Matt), Aaron, Rachael Zink and Jack Miles; his great grandchildren, Seazen, Sabastian, Kailey, Alex and Audrey; his siblings, William Hughes and Evelyn Calvert; and his sister-in-law Elinor (Hughes). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations to the Liver Foundation would be welcomed by the family.
