Raymond Lachapelle Obituary

We bid farewell to Raymond Lachapelle (Chatham, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 17, 2024. Raymond touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Angeline Lachapelle (Bechard) and John Lachapelle; his brothers, Norman and Maurice Lachapelle; and his parents-in-law, Salvatore and Maria Moccia.

He is survived by: his wife Carmela Lachapelle (Moccia); his children, Angelo Lachapelle (Erica), Reno Lachapelle (Olivia), Jenn Hemming (Matt) and Johnny Lachapelle (Lisa); his grandchildren, Ethan Hemming, Alexander Hemming, Natalie Lachapelle, Anthony Lachapelle, Samantha Lachapelle, Savannah Hemming, Gianluca Lachapelle and Domenic Lachapelle; his sister Christine O'Reilly (Kevin); and his siblings-in-law, Rosa Sullo (Jerry), Mario Moccia (Joanne), Joe Moccia and Linda Lachapelle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (180 Wellington St W, Chatham, ON N7M5K4).
