He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Allison and Eva Allison (Essery); his daughter Tanya Rae Allison; and his siblings, William Allison (Bill) and Donna Salisbury (late Ed).

He is survived by: his spouse Ruthanne Allison; his children, Steven Allison of Chatham and Shelley Jennen (Marcel) of Dresden; his stepdaughter Michelle Stephenson (Fred) of Halifax, NS.; his grandchildren, Amanda, Lindsay and Michael Jennen; and his siblings, Helen Cyr (Armand) of Ajax, Clarence Allison of Blenheim, Murray Allison (late Roseanne) of Chatham and Ronald Allison of Chatham. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
