Phil Bornais Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phil Bornais (Chatham, Ontario), who passed away on December 10, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hector Bornais and Rhea Bornais; his sister Pauline Boucher; his stepdaughter Debbie Barber; his stepgranddaughter Samantha Shepphard; his stepgreat-grandson Logan Murphy; and his siblings-in-law, Charles and Eileen McGee.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Bornais; his children, Lawrence Bornais of Chatham, Vincent Bornais (Janet) of Barrie, Paul Bornais of Winnipeg and Christine Sereda of Kingsville; his stepchildren, Robert Barber (Christine) of Wallaceburg, Catherine Roberts (Ed Turner) of Chatham, Brenda Roberts (London) and Scott Roberts of Chatham; his stepgrandchildren, Sarah, Crystal, Cassundra, Christopher, Jake, Hayley, Dawson, Tom, Rob, Tabitha, Tiffany, Teddy, Robb, Stephanie, Amanda, Anthony, Cassandra, Trevor, Manuel, Jordan and Trent; his siblings, Patricia Bellaire of Tilbury and Peter Bornais (Heather) of Winnipeg; his brother-in-law Roy McGee (Margaret) of London; and his former wife Ruth Anne Bornais.

In memory of Philip, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to the Kidney Foundation.
