He was predeceased by: his daughter Angela Marie; and his parents, Elizabeth and John. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; and his children, Peter Jr. (Jen), John (Christine) and Jodie (Thomas Rolph). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
