He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hornbostel and Joyce Hornbostel; and also Terry Thompson. He is survived by: his significant other Renee Christensen; his child Jodie-Lynn Burden (Lemont); his grandchildren, Devin Giardino and Jarrett Giardino; his niece Tammy Palocz; and his sister Judy Grenier (Glenn).
