He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Owen and Rose Owen; his grandson Scott Owen; his brother William Owen (Alea); and his siblings-in-law, Vern Bechard (Mary-Lou) and Jerome Bechard (Zuzanna).
He is survived by: his wife Jeannette; his children, Brenda Gibson (Terry), James Owen (Kathy) and Annette Thomas (Mark); his grandchildren, Jeffery Gibson (Kim), Melissa Gibson, Kevin Owen (Stephanie), Amy Thomas (Wes), Greg Thomas (Robin) and Grant Thomas (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Brady, Jamie, Colton, Ashton, Larkin, Evelyn, Isla, Asher, Scarlet and Willow; his sister Dorothy Brown (Cliff); and his siblings-in-law, Ivan Bechard (late Dora), Beverly Crow (late Robert), Gerard Bechard (Margo) and Norbert Bechard (late Jean). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews & extended family.
