He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnet Legary and Fern Legary (D' Clute); his brothers, Lynwood Legary (Bud) and Eugene; his parents-in-law, Lia, Richard Lammens and Floyd Graham; and his siblings-in-law, Tom and Nancy Graham.

He is survived by: his wife Mary-Jean Legary (Lammens); his sons, Mike Legary (Angel) and Rick Legary (Rachel); his grandchildren, Colin, Samantha, Trevor (Megan), Kaitlyn (Andrew), Austin and Emily; his siblings, Janice Legary, Sharon Krukowski (Lenonard), Larry Legary and Dale Legary; and his aunt Zoe Devlaminck. He is also survived by many Nieces Nephews and countless friends.
