He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa May Brooks (Emery); his parents, James Thomas Brooks and Grace Caroline Brooks (Hughson); and his siblings, Ken and Geraldine Brooks.
He is survived by: his children, David Brooks (Julie), Lisa Rutkofske (Troy), Cherie DeBurger (Mike) and Troy Brooks (Chris); his grandchildren, Adam, Mathew (Nicole), Tabitha, Nick (Holley), Leo, Sam, Lisa, Meike, Aidan, Scarlett, Everlee and Landon; and his siblings, Shirley MacGregor (late Gerry) and Kathryn Martin (late Lloyd).
