He was predeceased by: his parents, John McGuire and Dorothy McGuire; and his pets, Bushey and Guiness. He is survived by: his significant other Chris; his stepchildren, Tracy Callaghan (Jim) and Jason Benninger; his grandchildren, Destiny Johnson (Justin), Justin Callaghan (Hanne), Cameron Callaghan and Brady Benninger; his great grandchildren, Jemma, Della, Rosie and Rowan; his brother Bill McGuire (Evelyn); his nieces and nephews, Tracey (Paul) and Christy (Brian); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brittany (John), Jessica (Vince), Jason, Emma and Liam; and his friend Dan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home (245 Wellington St W, Chatham, ON N7M1J9). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 6:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
