Maurice Dozois Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2024, Maurice Dozois (Chatham, Ontario), born in Tilbury, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Dozois (Charlebois); his parents, Adele Dozois (Montminy) and Oscar Dozois; and his brothers, Louis and Vincent Dozois.
He is survived by: his children, Louise Muckle (Garry), Charles Dozois (Susan), Yvette Hosie (Reid) and Pat Dozois (Dawn Allott); his grandchildren, Trevor (Stephanie), Liza (Sean), Megan (Matt), Sam (Carissa), Tyler, Dylan, Abbey and Lauren (Jake); his great grandchildren, Cole, Clark, Hailey and Audrey; and his siblings, Margarite Laroque, Gerald and Lawrence. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home (156 William St S, Chatham, ON N7M4S8). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Anthony's Cemetery.
