She was predeceased by: her spouse Polydor Claeys; her parents, John Watson and Eva Watson; her daughter Ruth Tattersall (Jim); her brother Bill; and her grandson Jarred Tattersall.
She is survived by: her children, John Paul Claeys (Lorrie Stewart), Raymond Claeys (Pam Waterworth), Judy Stoner (Allan) and Nancy Jefferies (Leroy); her sisters, Helen Dawson (late Ben) and Carol Gagnier (Roger); her grandchildren, Andy Tattersall, Joanna, Allison, Brandon Claeys, Lori, Katie Jefferies, Ben and Lisa Stoner; and her great grandchild Maebella Stewart. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
