She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hird "Charlie" and Corrine Alvina "Molly" McGee; her husband Philip Bornais; her children, Deborah Barber and David Barber; her brother Charles; her sister-in-law Eileen McGee; her granddaughter Samantha Shepphard; and her great grandchild Logan Murphy.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Barber (Christine) of Wallaceburg, Catherine Roberts (Ed Turner) of Chatham, Brenda Roberts of London and Scott Roberts of Chatham; her stepchildren, Lawrence Bornais, Vince Bornais, Paul Bornais and Christine Bornais; and her brother Roy McGee (Margaret) of London.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Marilyn's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association.
