She was predeceased by: her sister Darlene Foran; and her parents, Jacqueline MacDonald and Reginald MacDonald. She is survived by: her significant other Ken Gilhula; her son Shawn; her daughter-in-law Sheri Gilhula; her daughter Shannon Gilhula; her grandchildren, Robin Horar (Gilhula), Aidan Gilhula (Tori), Cara Higgs (Brody), Owen Gilhula, Ashlynn Gilhula, Ava Horar and Regan Horar; her great grandchildren, Scarlett and Preston Higgs; and her brothers, Reg MacDonald (Kathie), Dale MacDonald (Karen) and Sandy MacDonald.

To honour them, donations may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation in their memory. Donations are being accepted for: Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation (CHATHAM-KENT HOSPICE FOUNDATION).
