He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Cavacas (Poinho) and João Cavacas; and his brothers, Emilio, Mario and Ilídio Cavacas.
He is survived by: his children, Lenora Cavacas (Artur Miranda) and Glen Cavacas; his grandson Kyle Cavacas; his siblings, Benvinda Dinis (Antonio) and Julio Cavacas (Lurdes); and his siblings-in-law, Manuel and Natalia Rolo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
