She was predeceased by: her parents, John Steel and Rebecca Steel; and her spouse Byron. She is survived by: her children, Janet (James Sellers), Matt (Wendy), Sarah, Philip (Dena) and Alison (John Shea); her grandchildren, Morgan, Tabatha, Genevieve, Olivia, Everlee, Evan, Xavier and Ethan; her siblings, Norman Steel (Nancy) and June Elley (Kirk); her in-laws, Elaine, Andy Buckstein and Margaret Reaume (late Dennis); and her siblings, Jocelyn Mcollister and Johnny Steel.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family would suggest a donation to the Samaritan's Purse - Shoe Box campaign.
