She was predeceased by: her parents, William Haines and Jenny Haines (Rabideau); her husband William Coyne Gernaey; her daughter Ruthanne Elaine Donais; her son-in-law Jim Donais; and her siblings, June Hudson, Ida Prodenchuk and Gilbert Haines.
She is survived by: her son Bill Gernaey (Toni); her sister Isobel Manning; her grandsons, Clayton, Aaron, Jeff (Jenn), Eric (Renee), Bill (Jessara) and James; and her sisters-in-law, MaryAnn Wright (Brian) and Jackie Haines. She is also survived by her 16 great grandchildren.
