He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard and Elizabeth; and his brother Roy. He is survived by: his wife Marcelle; his children, Monica Paterson (Scott), Erik Phillips, Michelle Phillips (Jim) and Jamie Phillips (Rosemary Scafe); his grandchildren, Amber, Zack, Paul, Tyler, Trevor, Kendra and Felicia; and his siblings, Glenn and Sheila Hurst. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
