He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Goldsmith and Edith Goldsmith; and his siblings, Rev James, Norma Goldsmith, Fred, Lucille Goldsmith and Joy Johnson.

He is survived by: his spouse Beverley; his children, Carrie Visser, Brad, Sue Goldsmith and Brion Goldsmith; his grandchildren, Christian Carr, Angelica Carr, Ariel Visser, Josiah Visser and Trinity Visser; his siblings, Jeanne Axford (Bob), Richard Goldsmith (Grace) and Mary Kay Barbie (Jim); and his brother-in-law Jim Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Those wishing to make a memorial donation are asked to consider the Salvation Army.
