She was predeceased by: her parents, Chuoc Do and Chi Giang; and her husband Tinh Luu. She is survived by: her children, John Luu (Karen), Nora Murray (Peter), Peter Luu, Jim Luu (Rachel) and Wanda Luu; her grandchildren, Summer Dalanyi (Dusten), Jasper Luu, Starr Luu, Christopher Murray, Michael Murray, Liam Luu and Tatum Luu; her sibling Phuon Giang; and her nephews, Michael and Thai Luu.

In memory of Lam, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
