He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brooks and Grace Brooks; and his wife Geraldine. He is survived by: his children, Rodney Brooks (Denise) and Amy Brooks (Jason Morand); his grandchildren, Ryan Brooks (Kelsey), Alyssa Brooks (Jon Blondeel) and Jessica Brooks (Kory Kirktown); and his great grandchildren, Rowan, Andie and Olive.
