He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Koke and Jantje Koke (Zonneberg); his spouse Marty Koke; his daughter Cindy Koke-Haalstra (Jeff Haalstra); his brother Ed Koke (Cookie); and his siblings-in-law, Simon Antuma (late Wilma), George Antuma (Jean) and Jean Coolen (late Jeff).
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Koke-Schmidt (Tony Groza) and Ken Koke (Marg Haalstra-Koke); his grandchildren, Adam Schmidt, Lydia Schmidt, Vanessa Schmidt, Laura Carmer (Nick), Rachel Haalstra-Huntington (Matt), Michelle Haalstra, Shane Haalstra, Myles Koke and Madi Koke; his sisters, Jane Van and Marianne Massey (late Dennis); and his siblings-in-law, Peter Antuma (late Inkse), Fred Antuma (LeeAnn), Maryke James (late Francis), Driek Frak (late Louis) and Els Vanschubert (Al). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private family funeral will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 1:00 pm EST.
