She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Branscombe and Florence Branscombe; her husband John Gilbert; and her son Richard Gilbert. She is survived by: her children, Debbie, Brian Aerssen, Denise and Rodney Brooks; her grandchildren, Michael, Kerry Vince, Justin, Evy Vince, Elise Aerssen, Ryan, Kelsey Brooks, Jessica and Kory Kirktown; and her siblings, Howard (Mary Margaret Branscombe), Ben (Joyce Branscombe), Madeline (Claude Bidal) and Jim (Ginny Perry).
