He was predeceased by: his parents, John Campbell and Viola Campbell (Countryman); and his siblings, Leo Campbell (Eunice), Marion Hutchison (Douglas), Gladys Lawrence (James), Lyle Campbell (Doris), Murray Campbell and Allan Campbell.

He is survived by: his spouse Laverna; his children, Robert Campbell (Helen) of Blenheim, Gordon Campbell (Shirl) of Chatham, Sherri Burke (Peter) of Blenheim, Jo Oke (Robert) of Chatham and Lisa Jasper (Lawrence) of Chatham; his sisters, Helen Coyle (Gordon) and Maxine Paxton (Don); his siblings-in-law, Gayle Campbell (Jim Brodie) and Joanne Campbell; and his parents-in-law, Raymond Smolders (Pat) of Chatham, Linda Williston (late Ken) of Dutton, Rick Smolders (Cindy) of Blenheim, Ron Smolders (Sue) of Thamesville and Henry Smolders (Penny) of Blenheim. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren two step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
