Dave Imeson wrote a sympathy message

“In loving memory of John Franklin, Sharing in your sorrow. With love and friendship. John and I grew up together and remained friends for 70 years. We shared so many memories as young boys and teenagers and then again when we reconnected in our 50’s. I have lost my oldest and best friend and I will never forget him. My sympathies to Deb and his family for the loss of a great husband, father and grandfather. I hope one day sometime in the future we can get together and share our memories.”
