He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold FitzGerald and Minnette FitzGerald (Baby); and his siblings, Virginia Schramek, Haroldeen Smart and Gerald FitzGerald.

He is survived by: his wife Frances (Lozon); his children, Kelly Perpich (George) of Chatham, Eric FitzGerald (Cindy) and Darren FitzGerald; his grandchildren, Lisa Vilaranda Renee White (Paul), Lauren FitzGerald and Christian FitzGerald; his great grandchildren, Emma, Ava, Mya Vilaranda, Tyson, Callie FitzGerald and Quentin White; and also Barbara Drew.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in his memory to the Chatham Salvation Army Food Bank.
