She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Maynard and Edith Maynard; her husband Charles Kimpe; her siblings, Ella Doughty (Jim), Mabel Legue (Ed), Shirley Phaneuf (Francis), George Maynard (Marg), Donald Maynard (Marg), Ken Maynard and Tom Maynard (Janet); and her son-in-law Wayne.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Mercer (Patricia) and Cathy Earle (Al); her grandchildren, Ron Atkinson, Charlie Atkinson, Katie Pelkey and Gregory Mercer; and her great grandchildren, Michael Gavin, Dorian Atkinson, Hunter Pelkey, Carson Atkinson and Keatin McLain. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations made in memory of Jean to the CK Rescue and Big Fix Grassroots Cat Rescue would be appreciated by the family.
