She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Shoemaker and Jessie Shoemaker; her husband Clarence William Crowston; her siblings, Kenith Shoemaker, Donna Anderson (late Bob) and Murray Shoemaker; and her sister-in-law Cecilia Laidlaw (late Ivan).

She is survived by: her children, Dale Crowston and Debbie Newcombe (Ron); her grandchildren, Warrant Officer Bryan Crowston, C. D. (Sheri), Spencer Newcombe and Breanna Newcombe (Mike Nettleton); her great grandchildren, Lily Crowston, Linda Crowston, Kazaih Crowston, Max Crowston, Rio Eastcott, Eleanor Rietdyk and Jax Nettleton; her siblings, Muriel Teetzel (Cardie) and Beverly Shoemaker (Shirley); and her sisters-in-law, Jean Shoemaker, Myrtle Irwin (late Orland), Lois Alton (late Clayton) and Mona Crowston (late Bud). She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
