It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jack Rintjema of Chatham, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 68, on February 17, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Rintjema and Pearl Rintjema. He is survived by: his children, Lindsay, Jimmy Brink, Lauren, Steve Sunnen, Kerri and Jonathan Zettler; his grandchildren, Aiden, Leah, Austin Brink, Owen, Griffin Sunnen, Hudson, Nolan and Riley Zettler; and his siblings, Diane (Keith Vreman), Ray Rintjema, Joyce (John Menger), Tom Rintjema, Sue (John Koopman), Dave (Trudy Rintjema), Rob (Arlene Rintjema) and Christine (Phil Oosterman). He is also survived by grandfather to his 8 precious grandchildren, his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Living Hope Free Reformed Church (159 Gregory Dr E, Chatham, ON N7L0C9). A burial will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Maple Leaf Cemetery (75 Maple Leaf Dr, Charing Cross, ON N0P1G0).
In lieu of flowers donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
