She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert Stroobandt; her parents, Bertha Blanckaert (Wytinck) and Maurice Blanckaert; and her siblings, Martha, Simone Rabideau, Brenda Matteis, Andrew Blanckaert and Leon VanNeck.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Stroobandt, Andrea McDonald (Mike) and Larry Stroobandt; her grandchildren, Christine Barton (Shawn Mardling), Tara McDonald (Robert Lee) and Steven McDonald; her great grandchildren, Sierra, Aulden, Alexus, Andrew, Isaiah and Ashton; and her great great grandchild Taylior-Mae. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
