He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrianus Giessen and Adriana Van Giessen; his spouse Bastiana "Jane"; his child Adrian Van Giessen (Barb) of Waterloo; and his sisters, Jaantje and Cor.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Groenewegen (Pete) of Blenheim and Annie VanderLeek (Gordon) of Calgary. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In memory of Henk, donations may be made to the Tuition Assistance Fund (TAF) at the Chatham Christian School.
