She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Emery and Delina Emery; her son Gerard Meyerink; her siblings, Gerard Emery and Leona Poitier (late Roland); and her brother-in-law James Meyerink (late Betty).

She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Dan Meyerink (Janice Bechard-Meyerink), Katherine Meyerink, Larry Meyerink (Jan), Suzanne Hoekstra (Harry) and Robert Meyerink (Colette); and her siblings-in-law, Lucille Emery and Peter Meyerink. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
