He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Provost and Clara Provost; his brothers, Art (Delores), Don (Donna), Bob (Carol) and Larry (Pat); and his siblings-in-law, Jeanne Morris, Rita O'Mara, Agnes Lozon, Margaret Countryman, Paul Bechard and Louis Bechard.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise; his children, Peter (Lisa) of Mitchell's Bay, Denise Leeson (Harold) of Chatham and Dennis (Penelope); his grandchildren, Andrew Leeson (Therese), Jessica Boyt (Dillon), Brandon Provost, Shaun VanSickle (Alicia), John VanSickle (Daniela), Doulton Waddick, Kailee Waddick, Raleigh Provost and Hayden Provost; his great grandchildren, Lyric and Helena Boyt; his sibling Lennard (late Joyce) of Wallaceburg; his siblings-in-law, Genevieve Owen (John) of Ridgetown, Evelyn St, Ron Morris of Windsor and Hillary O'Mara of Chatham; and his nephew Will.
Donations in memory of Hector may be made to Canadian National Institute for the Blind, the Ronald McDonald House in Toronto or the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
