He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Janette Westervelt (Bernie) of Kitchener, Bernie Brouwer (Linda) of Chatham-Kent, Robert Brouwer (Betty) of Hamilton and Carol Schenk (Allen) of Barrie; his grandchildren, Melissa, Alana, Kaylee, Braydon, Amanda, Danielle, Nicole, Thomas (Nicole), Kathryn, Zachary and Noah; and his siblings, Ann Dieleman (Jim), Joanne DeVries (late Harry), Henry Brouwer (Jane), John Brouwer (Kathy) and Rhea Van Breda (late Jake). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
