She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Chappell and Florence Chappell (Crowder); her brother-in-law Jim Mehlenbacher; and her nephews, Brett and Brendyn Mayne.

She is survived by: her husband Brian; her children, Shawn and Jessica; her grandchildren, Abe and Maryam; her siblings, Dana Chappell (Margaret), Cindi Poyser (Glenn) and Robie Mayne (Perry); her parent-in-law Jean Wardlaw; and her siblings-in-law, Norma Tavieren (Mike), John Mehlenbacher (Francine), Cathy Campbell (Phil) and Maureen Robert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
