He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bechard and Velina Bechard; his brothers, Vern Bechard (late Mary Lou), Ivan Bechard (late Dora) and Beverley Crow (late Robert); his sisters-in-law, Jean Bechard and Shirley Bechard; and his pet Katie.
He is survived by: his wife Margo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations made in memory of Gerard to the LSW Prostate Cancer Support Group or the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind would be appreciated by the family.
