He was predeceased by: his father George Zimmer of Chatham; and his father-in-law Glen Blackburn. He is survived by: his mother Helen Zimmer (Bourdeau); his spouse Tracey Zimmer (Blackburn); his children, Amanda and Ashley Zimmer of Guelph; his siblings, Michelle (Tom O'Rourke), Wayne (Barb Zimmer), Mark (Lorrie Zimmer), Annette (Robert Jones), Andrew (Pat Zimmer) and Nicole (Gerrod Stewart); his siblings-in-law, Doree Blackburn and Aveny Isovski of London; and his mother-in-law Dorothy "Dot" Blackburn of Terrace Beach.
